Ghidra Fundamental changes that.
This is a structured reverse engineering course built specifically for ECU professionals — not programmers, not academics. Thomas Pirowski (30+ years in ECU reverse engineering, Volkswagen Racing, KIA Racing) designed it around one goal: teach you to read firmware the way ECU developers read it.
What you'll be able to do after this course:
- Open any ECU firmware in Ghidra and navigate it with confidence
- Read TriCore assembly and understand what the algorithm is actually doing
- Find base registers, track data flow, analyze functions and control logic
- Work with new ECUs (MD1, MG1, SID) — even without DAMOS or A2L
- Write and modify real code in firmware — including disabling a speed limiter from scratch
This is not theory for the sake of theory.
Every chapter is built around real firmware. You'll work with actual ECU files from lesson one. By Chapter 06, you'll disable a speed limiter by writing your own code — not by finding a map.
