Before you enroll

I already use WinOLS — will I learn anything new?

If you load files, apply generic Stage 1 changes, and hope they work — yes. The course teaches engineering documentation (DAMOS, A2L, Funktionsrahmen) as workflow, not as a reference manual.

Do I need DAMOS files to follow the course?

No. Chapter 4 covers working with incompatible DAMOS — how to extract map properties when documentation does not match your firmware exactly.

How much time does it take?

About 4 weeks at 1 hour per day across 8 chapters, with a practical mappack project by the end.

What prerequisites do I need?

Safe ECU read/write on 5–10 dumps. You should already use Kess, KTAG, PCMFlash, or similar without bricking units.
