Before you enroll
Do I need Diesel Fundamental first?
Yes. Practice assumes you already understand Driver Wish, FMTC, SOI, and Rail pressure at the theory level. Without Fundamental, the firmware edits won't make sense. Take them together as the F+P Bundle for €1,890 — save €330.
What firmware files do I work with?
Real ECU dumps from diesel engines. You open actual files, find the maps using the methodology from Fundamental, apply the calibration strategy, and produce a file ready for the dyno — not simulations or snippets.
Will the +28% strategy work on any diesel ECU?
The three methods (SOI + Rail pressure + Pre-injection) apply to most common-rail diesel ECUs — Bosch EDC17, Siemens PPD, Delphi DCM. Gains vary by platform and factory tune headroom; the Stage 1 strategy itself transfers universally.
How long does it take?
About 1 month at ~1 hour per day across 7 chapters. Self-paced with lifetime access — most students ship their first paid calibration before finishing.
